Located in the Baoshan District of Shanghai, is based on natural gas as fuel, with a total installed capacity of 1200MW (three 400MW units) in combined cycle unit. By Shanghai Electric and Germany's Siemens joint manufacturing, and in May 2006, respectively, in June, fully put into operation in July.
